Revision Webinars for A Level Religious Studies

Get a head-start with your exam-preparation by participating in our unique revision webinars, specially designed for students preparing for A Level Religious Studies examinations in June 2020.

.

Designed to compliment, not replace, our main A Level events and the Revise A level Religious Studies live events, our revision webinar series recaps the content of core topics in the Philosophy of Religion and Religious Ethics, providing and evaluating a good range of scholarly perspectives on each, and helps students develop well-structured examination essays in response to typical questions.

.

Each 90 minute webinar includes both a warm-up quiz and several mini-quizzes and will conclude with essay tips, a list of follow-up activities and the opportunity to ask questions and receive answers live or by e-mail. The final webinar includes targeted advice on final preparations and on actually sitting the exams.

.

May 2020 topics:

.

1. The Design Argument (inc. Science & Religion)
2. The Problem of Evil
3. Conscience, Free Will & Moral Responsibility
4. Utilitarianism

.

In 2019 we welcomed a record number of schools participated in these events, with individual webinars having an audience of more than 700 students in the UK and overseas. A lot of pizza was consumed whilst serious learning also happened.

.

Webinars run using the Citrix platform and may be attended live after school on the advertised dates. An .mp4 recording will be made of each live event which will be made available to all those who have booked the following morning.  Participation requires an internet-connected computer with camera, microphone and speakers (which may be connected to a projector so that a whole class can attend together).

.

To Book:

.

The Webinar Pass for this event, providing a link for each of the four events, costs £120.  Individual events cost £40 each.  NB: A single pass/link may be used by unlimited numbers of students, when attending together using a single computer and a projector.
