Philosophy Conference King’s School Gloucester

interesting-philosophy-conference-header-imageLOWER and Upper Sixth Form Philosophy Students enjoyed a very interesting Philosophy Conference in Oxford, where they heard from author Dr Peter Vardy.

Head of Religious Studies John Webster said: “The theme of the Conference was ‘Arguing for God’ – with arguments for and against the existence of God – and it culminated in a debate on the meaningfulness of religious language. We also visited Blackwell’s, one of the largest bookshops in the world.”
